System-wide Area Networking/ISP Information
By virtue of its membership in the Corporation for Education
Network Initiatives in California (CENIC), the CSU utilizes
the services provided by CENIC’s California Research
& Education Network (CalREN).
TIS serves as the liaison to CENIC, representing the Chancellor’s
Office and the campuses on system-wide initiatives pertaining
to video, internet, and WAN services. In addition, the Campus
Access Infrastructure (CAI) project will upgrade connectivity
between the CSU campuses and the CalREN backbone.
